“Russian Souvenir”- is a number of concerts dedicated to Russian classical music in Harpa Music Hall in Reykjavík, Iceland 2017-2018. You will hear an incredible collection of Russian musical masterpieces recognised by time and generations.

The program of the concert “Russian Souvenir” on 10th of September includes Russian pearls of romances as “Night Zephyr”, “Bloha”, “None but the lonely heart”, “Dream”, “Dark Eyes” and etc. of such genius composers as Mikhail Glinka, Pjotr Tchaikovsky, Modest Musorgsky, Sergei Rachmaninov and other outstanding composers which grabs the heart of the listener at the deepest level.

Authors of the program would be more than happy to guide you through the magnificent world of Russian romances and piano music of Russian music culture.This concert is a one of a kind opportunity to enjoy music compositions rarely performed outside of Russia.

Russian Souvenir is an invitation to visit a special, inaccessible world which takes the listener deep inside the Russian soul.
Vladimir Gerts (Basso)
As the owner of the beautiful and rich with overtones voice, after graduating from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory(class A.A.Bolshakova and E.E.Nesterenko) Vladimir was invited to the famous Moscow Bolshoy Theather, where Pavel Lisician became his instructor. While working at the Bolshoy Opera Theater, Vladimir has mastered the main roles of classical bass repertoire played in operas Rossini, Prokofiev, Verdi and Mussorgsky.

From the mid 80-s, Vladimir becomes a soloist of the Moscow State Philarmonic. He took part in numerous international festival and competitions, among them: Russian – Canadian Festival “Russian winter” in Toronto 1997-1999, Musical Festival dedicated to A.Pushkin, Moscow, 1999.

Vladimir Gerts is co-operating with many cultural organisations as Russian Foundation of Culture, Program “New names”, Rossotrudnichestvo, he performed ethnographical programs in Jewish Cultural Centers in Europe. Asia, Africa, Canada and USA. He has performed to the audience in Russia, Germany, France, Hungary, Luxembourg, Spain, Chile, Brazil, India, Lebanon, USA.

Vladimir has taught with regularity master classes in Moscow House of Feodor Shalapin.

In March 2010 by the Russian Music Society label in the USA, Vladimir has released classical CD “Two Century of Russian Romances”.

Alexandra Chernyshova ( Soprano )
Alexandra is well known lyric coloratura soprano in Iceland. She made her way to the hearts of Icelanders through the beautiful crystal voice, sincere musicality and vivid stage presence. After Alexandra´s appearance as Violetta Valery in “La Traviata” by G.Verdi with the Icelandic Opera Skagafjardar company which she established in the North of Iceland in 2006, music critics said that “Miracles still happen”.

She graduated from Kiev State Music Institute by R.Glier, National State Kiev Linguistic Universtiy, Odessa National Music Academy by N.Nezdanova, Kiev Management of Education University and Listaháskóli Íslands. Alexandra sang with the Kiev National Radio and Television Orchestra, Kiev Academical Musical Theatre of Opera and Ballet for Youth, International Music Sacra Festival in Marktoberdorf in Germany, Rhodes International Opera Festival in Greece, International Opera Studio by Katja Ricciarelli in Italy, Opera Skagafjardar in Iceland, Icelandic symphony orchestra of the North, New York Contemporary Opera Festival, USA and Spring Music Art Festival in Japan. Alexandra was awarded Artistic salary from the Ministry of Culture and Education of Iceland, in 2008 and received the international prestigious award for her cultural achievement in Iceland – Top 10 Outstanding Young people of Iceland JCI, in 2014.Autumn 2016 opera composer Alexandra Chernyshova introduced her first opera “The Poet and the Bishop´s daughter” abroad to the demanding audience in Moscow Gnessin Academy. Spring 2017 Alexandra made her appearance in International Spring Music Art Festival in Japan, took part in the World Women Summit in Tokyo and made a presentation of her notebook with 14 songs from the Icelandic opera “The Poet and the Bishop´s daughter” on libretto Guðrún Ásmundsdóttir in Tokyo.

Alexandra published 3 solo CDs, among them Russian album with 11 romances by Sergei Rachmaninov “A Dream” accompanied by Icelandic legend – pianist Jónas Ingimundarson.

Currently, Alexandra works on her new composed opera “Northern Light fairy tale of Iceland” opera-ballet for children which will be shown 2nd of December at Harpa Music Hall.

Elina Valievа (piano)
Elina was born in 1992 and started her piano lessons at 5. In 2010 she graduated from Music College in Ufa with a gold medal, then entered the Moscow P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Prof. Yuri Slesarev. After graduating from the conservatory, Elina plays in various concert halls in Moscow and other Russian cities as a soloist and in various ensembles. Currently, she is studying MMus at the Gnessin Academy in the class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Yury Bogdanov. Elina Valieva is a Fellow of many music charity programs: of Ministry of Culture, International charitable programs of the Russian Foundation for Culture, International Charity Foundation “New Names”, “Gifted children” by Y.Rozum. Also, Elina has won many National and International competitions, among which:
– VII National Competition “To the birthday Bach » (Kazan, Russia)- I prize, (+ diploma for the best performance of the compulsory piece;
– VII International Maria Yudina Competition (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) – 1 prize;
Ufa Festival of Piano competition’s winners “Yondozile” – the Grand Prix.
I National Ismagiloff piano Competition (UFA, Russia) – I prize.
– I International Competition “Contemporary Art and Education” -(Moscow, Russia) – III prize.
Elina plays recitals and concerts with National music theatre orchestra. Her program includes works from various periods and styles from Scarlatti and Bach to Prokofiev and Ravel.

Ingunn Hreinberg Indirðadóttir is a linguist who teaches Russian at the University of Iceland. She completed a B.A. in general linguistics and Russian from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2011 and an M.A. in general linguistics from the University of Iceland in 2014.

Þið munuð heyra úrval meistaraverka klassískrar tónlistar sem hefur heillað heiminn í tvær aldir. Þessir tónleikar eru hugsaðir sem tónlistarmenningarbrú á milli Íslands og Rússlands, listrænn stjórnandi er Alexandra Chernyshova. Tónleikarnir verða haldnir bæði á Íslandi og í Rússlandi, áherslan á Íslandi verður á rússnesk tónskáld en í Rússlandi verður áherslan á íslensk tónskáld.

Efnisskráin í Kaldalóni inniheldur rómönsur, sönglög og píanó einleik eftir rússnesk tónskáld. Á tónleikunum “Russian Souvenir “ verða fluttar þekktar rússneskar perlur eins og “Nochnoy Zephyr” eftir A. Dargomyzhsky, “Bloha” eftir M. Mussorgsky, “Adagio úr Hnettubrjótara” eftir P. Tchaikovkiy, “Sirjen” eftir S. Rachmaninov, “Ochi chjernije” o.fl.

Höfundum efnisskrárinnar er það mikil ánægja að leiða tónleikagesti um stórfenglegan heim klassískrar tónlistar, rússneskra rómansa og píanó meistaraverka. Þessir tónleikar eru frábært tækifæri til að upplifa á ný rómantíska rússneska tónlist og fara í tónlistarferðalag með listamönnum í gegnum tvær aldir í Rússlandi.

Á tónleikunum kemur m.a. fram rússneskur bassasöngvari, Vladimir Gerts, frá Moskvu. Hann lærði söng hjá próf. Nesterenko. Hann söng í óperuhúsinu Bolshoi, var sólóisti í Moscow Philarmonic Society og hefur flutt einsöng og rússneska rómansa og söngva víðar í Evrópu, Kanada, Ísrael, á Indlandi og í fleiri löndum. Hann hefur gefið út marga geisladiska og fékk sérstaka viðurkenningu fyrir diskana "Two centuries of Russian Romance" og "Spirit of Russia" sem hann tók upp ásamt kammersveitinni The Moscow Soloists og diskinn "By the long road" sem hann tók upp ásamt hinum fræga kvartett "Moscow Balalaika Quartet".

Alexandra Chernyshova var valin í top 10 framúrskarandi unga Íslendinga árið 2014 fyrir framlag sitt til menningar á Íslandi. Hún hefur lokið M.Mus frá Listaháskólanum Íslands, M.Ed. frá Háskólanum í Kiev, Master gráðu í óperusöng og söngkennarapróf frá Odessa Tónlistarakademiu og Glier High Music College og sömuleiðis BA frá National Kiev Linguistic University. Alexandra stofnaði Óperu Skagafjarðar árið 2006, Söngskóla Alexöndru og stúlknakór Draumaradda Norðursins árið 2008. Alexandra hefur sungið víða um Ísland, Evrópu, New York og líka í Kína og Japans. Í Úkraínu var hún valin "Nýtt nafn Úkrainu" árið 2002 og vann alþjóðlega óperukeppni í Rhodes, Gríkklandi sama ár. Alexandra hefur gefið út þrjá einsöngs geisladiska "Alexandra soprano" (2006), "Draumur" (2008), "You and only you"( 2011). Hún hóf feril sinn á sviði sem einsöngvari hjá Kiev Academic Musical Theater of Opera and Ballet. Sumarið 2013 kom hún fram í fyrsta skipti hjá New York Contemporary Opera, auk þess sem hún hefur sungið sem einsöngvari með Óperu Skagafjarðar. Í efnisskrá óperusögunnar hefur Alexandra sungið hlutverk eins og Zerlínu, Natalka Poltavku, Violettu Valery, Lucy, Gilda og fleiri - og síðan söng hún hið nýskapaða óperuhlutverk Ragnheiðar Brynjólfsdóttur í óperunni “Skáldið og Biskupsdóttir” og Álfadrottninguna í barnaóperunni “Ævintýrið um norðurljósin”.

Elina Valievа píanóleikar fæddist í 1992 og byrjaði að æfa píanó frá 5 ára aldri. Í 2010 hún útskrifaðist hún frá Music College in Ufa með hæstu einkunn og hélt áfram námi í Moscow - P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory hjá Prof. Yuri Slesarev. Eftir útskriftina frá tónlistarakademíunni spilaði Elina á alls konar tónleikum í Moskvu og Rússlandi, sömuleiðis hefur hún tekið þátt sem sóloisti í ýmiskonar samvinnu verkefnum. Þessa dagana er hún að læra M.Mus í Gnessin Academy hjá Professor Yury Bogdanov. Elina Valieva er marg verðlaunaður pianóleikari of Ministry of Culture, International charitable programs of the Russian Foundation of Culture, International Charity Foundation "New Names", "Gifted children" by Y.Rozum. Elina vann margar innanlands- og alþjóðlegir keppni t.d.:VII National Competition "To the birthday Bach » (Kazan, Russia)- I prize, diploma for the best performance of the compulsory piece; VII International Maria Yudina Competition (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) - 1 prize; Ufa Festival of Piano competition's winners "Yondozile" - the Grand Prix. Tveir einleikarar frá þjóðerni hjómsveit "Kozachiy Krug" (is. Kozakar Hringur") er á Íslandi. Lyubov Rivina bað þá að framkvæma á tónleikunum í Félagið MÍR, Menningartengsl Íslands og Rússlands var gefið pláss fyrir fundi og tónleikum.

Fundurinn fer fram í Félagið MÍR þriðjudaginn 25. júlí klukkan 18:00, eftir ræðu - kaffi og samtál.

9 мая 2017 года Посольство России в Исландии совмеcтно со Свято-Николаевским приходом Московского Патриархата в Рейкьявике проводит традиционную церемонию возложения венков к мемориалу "Надежда" на кладбище "Фоссвогур", посвященную 72-й годовщине Великой Победы. Принять участие в церемонии приглашаются все, для кого 9 мая - это День Победы, День Памяти, все, для кого это "праздник со слезами на глазах".

К собравшимся почтить память моряков - участников Арктических конвоев, внесших свой вклад в борьбу с нацистами и Победу в Великой Отечетсвенной войне, обратится Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол Российской Федерации А.В.Васильев.

Настоятель прихода протоиерей Тимофей Золотуский совершит краткую заупокойную литию "о всех усопших воинах, за веру, Отечество и народ жизнь свою положивших, и всех страдальчески погибших в годы Великой Отечественной войны". Также будет совершена заупокойная молитва по воину-моряку Александру Малею и по всем, кто упокоен на воинском участке кладбища Фоссвогур.

Сбор участников в 10:50 на парковочной площади. Начало церемонии в 11:00.

По завершении будем рады видеть участников церемонии в Посольстве, ул. Гардастрайти 33, где в 12:00 состоится начало Торжественного приема.

Также 9 мая 2017 года в Исландии пройдет акция "Бессмертный Полк", посвященная 72-й годовщине Победы в Великой Отечественной войне.

Патриотические акции "Бессмертный Полк" и
"Георгиевская ленточка-2017" проводятся в Исландии совместно:
- Посольством Российской Федерации;
- Свято-Николаевским приходом Московского Патриархата в Рейкьявике;
- Культурно-духовным центром русскоговорящих соотечественников в Исландии;
- Организацией русскоговорящих соотечественников в Исландии
"Землячество".

Все желающие принять участие в акции "Бессмертный Полк", - приходите на церемонию возложения венков к мемориалу "Надежда" на кладбище "Фоссвогур". Принесите с собой полноразмерную фотографию вашего родственника-ветерана (в формате А4), вставленную в рамку, либо "запечатанную" в пластик. Под фотографией желательно крупными буквами указать фамилию, имя и отчество, годы жизни, воинское звание и род войск.

Если вам негде распечатать фотографию, или вы не успеваете достать рамку и оформить её к понедельнику 9 мая, тогда пришлите письмо на почтовый ящик Свято-Николаевского прихода (info@orthodox.is). Просьба указать в письме ФИО (фамилия, имя, отчество), годы жизни, воинское звание и род войск вашего родственника-ветерана.

А самое главное – к письму должна быть "прикреплена" фотография, которую вы понесете на 9 мая в рядах нашего "Бессмертного Полка".

Также 9 мая 2017 года состоиться традиционная акция "Георгиевская ленточка". Георгиевские ленточки можно будет получить в Культурно-духовном центре русскоговорящих соотечественников в Исландии по адресу Öldugata 44. Их также можно будет получить 9 мая на Фосвогурском кладбище и в зале приёмов Посольства России в Исландии.
